The game has issues - for example, I select a match and it's my turn but I get the connection issue and I end up losing the match. Another one that happens when I make a move and it looks like my opponent timed out but somehow I lose the match - Gamovation needs to do more testing and QA on this - there is no way I'd spend money on a game this buggy

Sorry matches are being lost after connection errors or timer issues. That sounds very frustrating, and we'll share these exact cases with the Checkers team for investigation.

When first installed 3-4 years ago it was great. Then in spring it was shut down for a few days and when it reopened the gameplay totally changed! There were suddenly a huge number of "players" all with suddenly very average scores. Really good "players" from unheard of countries and bad players from areas where they always really good in the past. Now you will play against "someone" with a very poor score that appears like a typically bad player that suddenly gets really good. It's all fake AI.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. We're sorry Checkers feels less authentic to you now and that opponents seem inconsistent or fake. We'll share your concerns about matchmaking and player behavior with the team.

Good app, just one small complaint - there appears to be a bug with the sound, if you switch off sound effects in the settings it will turn off the background music in the app. However, if you then navigate to the vs computer play, the music starts up again. Basically there's no way to play offline without that music playing in the background. I like to play checkers while I watch YouTube or listen to podcasts at the same time so this is a little annoying to me. But other than that it's great!
